One thing you did good today

On returning my shopping trolley today I was confronted with a lady and two small kids that looked less off than me I suppose. The lady fumbled for a coin and I said here by the kids an ice cream 🍦, She looked at me as if I where giving her a 100 , it was $2

BAM I felt so good 😊

Hi 9 names later,

All your good deeds is very inspiring! It generally makes me want to be a kinder person; so thank you for that!

Today I will write a little card of appreciation and send it to someone I care about.

Hey Romantic(great name btw)

I didn't know how to respond to your post,I find it hard for all the good I have done, and never really meant to do good.

Most people just think I'm a psycho, threat, and put me in he to hard basket.

Today my good thing was to spend time, quietly with my 19yr old and talk about nothing with conflict. Absolutely priceless for us both.

Today I made shepherds pie for dinner. Well, my husband made the mashed potato when I ran out of energy. So I made half a shepherds pie. Tasted good.

ps. How did it go with your neighbour, Later?

Today I went into the office of a person who had been extremely hard to get on with - to others, not me. That person is normally fine, but has constant great pressures at home. I asked how things were, the venting started and took some time. Maybe the person felt better, finding a sympathetic face when surrounded by hostility. I felt sad.

That was a good thing you did, Croix. Sometimes listening is the best thing we can do for someone. I think your colleague will sleep a little better tonight.

Nice1 Croix...You just made his/her day

Today I bought 350kg of redgum split firewood and hand loaded it into my XR8 Ute.....ugh!

Yay....serious outdoor heating enabled 🙂

Big hi to all,

I have a fat head,(for starting thi thread) I just read over all your fantastic stuff you have been doing. I don't wright very well like the others,it it is really hard not to swear on here.

Thankyou all for making me feel connected.xo

Today my one thing I did good was to play nurse again,to my husband (not like that)

4.30am yep this morning I had to drive him to hospital as he had an elbow op similar to tennis elbow. Picked him up at 12.30pm and it's been like I picked up a big fat fury overgrown black bear. (As we all know men are the worst patients unless we are playing,..)

Later thanks again Red wood is a great choice of wood

Hi 9 names later and all

I love that there's so many good deeds on here. Even though they may seem small it certainly adds up!

I too have been put in the too hard basket before and I'm sorry that you've been told those things; I hope that you know you're so much more than whatever names you've been called. These good things that you're doing come straight from the heart; you expect nothing in return and thats what makes them so wonderful. I'm also really glad to see that you feel connected here.

It's only 10am today so I haven't done anything kind yet, but one thing I did want to do (and never got around to) is writing a card for a family member who had surgery. I think it's a great excuse to try and bring back snail mail - who doesn't love getting something nice in the post?!

Hey all, today I went to dentist yet again and still have no top teeth.😡

My mum wanted to meet up at the shops,so reluctantly I forced myself to go (I didn't want anyone to see me,and that is stupid as they never see my mental health)

Anyway it was nice to give mum the mie as she has always been there for me.

love the little stories as we know a little bit of positive goes a long way.

My daughter has just come back from staying for a while with her dad. We chopped up different veggie sticks (enough for lunch and heaps to keep in the fridge) and made home made dip for them. We then made popcorn and bagged up a bunch for snacks through the week. She has Down Syndrome and puts weight on easily and has gained considerable weight since she has been with her dad. We are both making healthier choices and we had fun doing it 😄
