I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of my dear friends on Beyond Blue a very merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year in 2024. A heartfelt thankyou also to everyone who has taken an interest in what I have had to say throughout 2023 and have been kind enough to reply.
Some of what I have written maybe questionable but hopefully most of it was of some small help along the road to wherever we are all going. I would also like to wish all of those people who find themselves alone during this festive season, the sincere hope that their lives will improve beyond their greatest expectations and that they will find a way through life's little bumps in the road to enjoy this journey through time and space.

Hello Amd & a very Merry Xmas to you, too.
I thought it was all alright again, but my post of last night hasn't turned up & wasn't saved to 'load' again...
What I wanted to say is how your attitude of self-acceptance comes through in your posts & is a fine example of how to accept ourselves. This is valuable to me, in how you show yourself in your matter of fact way, to see & know yourself, accept yourself & express yourself, without embarrassment or boastful conceit, but simply 'here I am'.
Thank you for being here.
May your days be filled with wonder & gentle ease.
Hugzies

Just noticed this by chance amd
A warmhearted, caring message for all to receive
Seasons greetings all
For those who feel alone amidst the uncomfortable family settings, I reach out and humbly say that I too know that feeling
There are many of us feeling alone in a busy bustling world
Strength and courage in numbers
For those of us who have loss I respect your space and silently join you
Take care all of BB

Yes it's here again. Those of you who have known me for years know I loathe all the crap and hype that goes on, mainly due to the media and shopping malls constantly reminding many people of what they DON'T have..i.e. a loving family, happy children with 2 parents, money to buy presents and food, a loving partner, a laden table, expensive decorations, and love love love and peace. It's mental cruelty, like rubbing their faces in it.. saying "Look, Look at what you haven't got!! Look at what you never had your poor pathetic little person...we're all having a terrific time this Christmas, but you're NOT!" How cruel. And year after year after year those who are "without" are made to feel their loss 100 times more. Horrible time of year in my opinion....Moon S........

Hello everyone….🤗..
Moon I can so much understand your words…Christmas can be such a lonely time for many people, the media only think of themselves and the profits they will make for themselves by airing these images and the shops…well profit again rears it’s ugly head….Life, living today is all about money….
I work in a place where I see so much heartache around Christmas…parents unable to buy Christmas gifts for their children, let alone even put food on the table for them….it can be a very cruel time of year for many people and families….Not many people care about other peoples struggles…Christmas is all about who can buy the biggest and most expensive gift in the family…The spirit of Christmas and the meaning of Christmas has been eaten up by a false imagination of the media…and makes many of us hate this supposed to be happy family time of year…Its about time the media wakes up to the reality that Christmas can be and is a very sad and lonely time for many families and people…They never will though…
The other day my friend said she is going to her sons place for Christmas lunch and because it’s a blended family so many turn up….She said to me what should I get them for Christmas…and in the same breath said that every year she buys them presents but they never give her one…so this year she won’t buy them anything….Christmas is not spiritual anymore it’s about gift giving…give a gift to receive a gift…how very sad is that!…Gift giving should come from the heart without any expectations of receiving a gift in return…
By just being grateful for what we have, a food over our heads, a warm bed, some food to eat and knowing our family are safe and happy, even if they are not with us on Christmas Day..is the best way to get through it all….Christmas is what we make it to be for ourselves…I have spent many Christmas’s alone…yes many times I felt lonely and abandoned by my children on the day…but night comes and the next day comes….then Christmas is completely forgotten for another year…
Thinking of you dear Moon, with kind and caring thoughts…🩷🤗🌈..
