intro, addiction BPD

I'm an addict,

I think at this point I'd take anything. Doesn't matter, the rush, I go a few months without and then spend a week using.

It's time to start loving myself.

I deserve to save myself !

Dear Spaghettimonster88~

I'd like to join Sophie_M in welcoming you to the forum and do agree you contact our Support Service as Sophie Suggests.

I’m sorry for the delay in this place getting back to you, it's not you or the subject of your post, just sometimes things do not work as we would wish.

They mas well be able to advise you both on the treatment of your BPD and also on helping to remoce the compulsion to have to take addictive substances, anteing from weed to alcohol.

I guess you have already taken two of the most important steps, firstly to realize there is in fact a problem, many don't, and secondly tell others, something that can be particularly hard to do.

Apart from contacting Beyond Blue you to have any other plans in your mind as what to do next, maybe visit your GP? If you did I"d suggest booking an extended consultation.

Trying it change is hard, and particularly so is alone. May I ask if there are any others, partner, family or freind who you can talk hte matter wiht and go to when feeling overwhelmed by need?

We would love to hear back from you
