So, I want some advice, tips, ideas on the best ways people have found to get some sleep without medication. I’m having a hard time getting any sleep at all. It’s been days. What are some ways you get to sleep? I’m open to natural therapies as well.

Hi Annie, welcome 🙂

It's the pits isn't it and really plays with our emotional state

One thing that I find helps is execise, be careful not to overdo it to start with, better to ease in otherwise it can be off putting

Another effective thing I've hear about here is apps you can get on phones, it's meditation ones, one's called smiling minds I think, working on relaxation and it's also distraction. Btw are you awake because something's upsetting you or just can't sleep?

Meditation can be effective full stop with/out apps, I've just imagined I'm somewhere comfy and peaceful, nothing that involves too much thought and focusing on how relaxed you feel, might be sitting on the beach, warm, comfy watching the waves, hearing them or sitting under stars etc, I've just made up things and helped for relaxation

We can't say specific names of natural or other meds but I have heard there's a common one that's good on the market. Maybe check with chemist or google.

Can try and focus sometimes helps me on a dot when you close your eyes, you know how there's all patterns of lights and dark, God I hope other people see them lol

Not sure about other stuff hope something there helps.

Oh and if you do a search here top R) and put in sleep there maybe something helpful in one of the threads too

All best with this
Like to know how you go 🙂
