Hi,
I have recently turned 30 and have filled out an application for university. I have mostly worked in trades and construction but have also studied a little bit. I’m not extremely happy where I am at the moment and feel I have more to contribute and can have more of an impact on the world.
im struggling to decide what career path to go down and I’m hoping that some people on here have had the same issues and can help point me in a direction with websites they have used or people they have talked to in order to find what it is that could make life a little more fulfilling for myself.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mitch, welcome
Im 61yo. Due to mania I've had around 90 jobs and 15 professions.
I joined the RAAF at 17 became a jail warder at 21, private investigator at 25, dog ranger, security, etc. Eventually I ran my own PI company.
From those experiences I found that I could make my impact on the world after working hours if my job was mundane.eg lions club, greenpeace. But the saying goes "if you have your hobby as a job, you'll never work a day in your life"
Examine your skills, your hobbies, your natural abilities especially as a child. Consider the armed forces though not for everyone.
Its a critical choice.
Best of luck in your future.

Have you thought about trying to get a job in the field you are interested
I did a 3 year course and what I did after was nothing related to that Diploma, I know a uni course would have more prospect than what I did, however there are jobs where you can work and do the course as well, this would give you an indication whether or not that's what you want to do. Geoff.
