how can you tell if you're relapsing?

Hi, I'm new to this forum (or any online forum for that matter) but would really love to connect with other people who have gone through similar things.

I'm in recovery from depression/anxiety and most of the time feel like I'm doing ok. But sometimes, like today, it feels as if the world is crashing in again and that I just can't cope. I get really worried that this means I'm relapsing and will end up in an institution again.

Is this common? And how can you tell the difference between a relapse and just a shitty day?

Would love to hear from anyone even if you haven't been able to answer this question yourself.

Hi sophy I'm new aswel to this forum

i just suffered from the same things that you are going through, I didn't realise how serve it was until one of my friends told my mum and i got professional help straight away, seeing someone at first was so hard for me cause i was like 30 feet under water and everything was trapped, you need to find somebody who you are able to talk to like a professionl, since I've been seeing her I've gotten rid of the depression and part of the anxiety but I'm now experiencing PTSD its so hard some days and some days you feel like your going backwards but always remember one step back two steps forward, do things that make you happy create goals you have us to talk to and vent to but never give up i no it feels like there is no hope but continue to push through because one day your going to say it was worth it

keep your head up tomorrow is a new day
