Hi

Me again, been doing okay, however my inner voice keeps on thinking my management at work aren't very good.

I feel terrible for having these thoughts & need to find another job.

They're doing their best, is what I'm trying to tell myself, they're only human & not gods!

I suppose I'm kinda asking for forgiveness for thinking this, as I cannot ever tell them this! They'll be hurt & angry.

I need to accept the thoughts & don't deny otherwise the thoughts will get worse.

I'm a bad person though, for thinking this.

Hi JacintaMarie,

Happy to hear you are doing well.

With regards to your inner negative voice, it's completely human and normal to have these kinds of thoughts every now and then, we all go through this. Having these thoughts definitely doesn't make you a bad person, it's how you respond to these thoughts. You are actually a good person for feeling bad for having these negative thoughts.

If I may ask, have these thoughts of your management being bad coming to you recently? Is there anything specific about your management/workplace that's been bothering you? It's important to know why you are feeling this way. Sometimes if you had a bad experience in the past, your inner voice might bring up these memories and feelings.

Listening to your inner voice doesn't mean agreeing to everything it says and it doesn't define who you are. Negative inner voice can happen when you focus on the bad and are critical of yourself. So, try to be gentle on yourself and challenge and replace them with positive ones.

Hope you feel better, I am here to listen and support if you feel like sharing more...

Take care
