It is such a beautiful morning! The birds are singing, the sky is a dark thundercloud blue/black and may hopefully bring us some rain later on today.
I've planned some lovely events for today. I decided I will wear a dress to Church today, I am going to find a nice necklace and put on some make up to help me feel better. I will stay after Church and chat with a few people.
Then I am off to have lunch with a couple of friends. I am always driving to them, but I will enjoy the scenery along the way, appreciate their friendship and our chatter.
In the evening I am going to visit my sister for her Birthday and will see her family there as well, including my two beautiful nieces.
It is going to be a wonderful day. I have so much to be thankful for.
I wish all of you moments of happiness, joy, peace and the ability to decide how you will spend your days.
Love and cyber hugs to you all, from Mrs. Dools

Hi Mrs Dools and Geoff,
Lovely weather. We are gardening today. We have a dam that need some love and attention planting Canna lilies and pig face.
Over our back fence there are golfers playing and the grass is still green.
We have plovers nesting on the ground on a vacant paddock next door to us. Mum sits on the eggs while dad patrols. We mow that area and have left a section for them to continue their activities.
We have lots of vegies growing too.

Hi Geoff and White Knight,
I did have a wonderful day yesterday. At Church my mind seemed a little muddled and I couldn't make head nor tail of the sermon, but I didn't let that bother me. I enjoyed a chat with people after the service so that was lovely.
I bought more potting mix for some geranium cuttings my Mum gave me and joined my friends for lunch. I took the ladies some roses from our garden, it was lovely to share the flowers with them. One lady was rather negative with everything she spoke about, so I just accepted that and realised she had a lot to share and needed to get it off her chest.
The evening at my sister's for her birthday was lovely. Due to their very busy lives, it was just me, my sister her husband and my two nieces. It was a very special time for me. I love my nieces so much so cherish the times I have with them.
When I used to visit my nieces when they were younger, they would run out to the road and welcome me as I got out of my car. Yesterday I ran out of their house and welcomed my older niece as she arrived after I did. Just little things like that are so very precious.
I drove home through a thunderstorm, it was so spectacular! The heavens opened up with huge flashes of light plus lots of forked lightening which apparently sparked off lots of grass fires.
Geoff, I forgot to take a long a CD for the car so I just listened to the radio. I need to remember to place some CDs in my handbag, that way they will make it to the car! Ha. Ha.
Wishing you both a day where you can enjoy the small pleasures of life,
Cheers, from Mrs. Dools
