Hi
Im starting a journey on getting well, It has take me years to finally admit I am depressed, I've been terrified of the stigma and the medications. I have some therapy booked, and have seen a homeopath for health support. I am struggling with Alcohol, and it is making me ill, my digestive system is out of wack, is there somewhere I can talk to others who are trying to stop drinking? I need to talk about it, and I want to stop all together, I have tried so many times, but keep going back, I know it is making my issues unsurmountable, but I can only stay off it for about 2 weeks then it starts again, please Help, many thanks.....frustrated, alone, sick, not moving forward, like a duck swimming, feet going like mad but not moving anywhere..........thanks again S60

Hi Soul da Loop (and a wave to all),
I’m sorry that phone therapy left you feeling sad although I really admire your determination to not slip back. I hope watching the funny video afterwards helped a little...
Congratulations on 4 days without alcohol! That’s a huge achievement and I really hope you feel proud of yourself 🙂
Your crafting day plus walk with your friend sounds lovely.
How have you been since?
It would be lovely to hear from you again but no rush or pressure...just when you’re feeling up to it...
kind and caring thoughts,
Pepper

Hi Soup da Loop
Had a look online at This Naked Mind and it sounds inspiring. Would be great to get a review on it from you when you've finished reading it. Congrats on your 9 days, a great achievement on your journey of reformation.
Take care of yourself

Hi Soup da Loop, day 10 today, doesn't that make you proud of yourself.
I also want to say that if this happens to break, do not blame yourself, I need to mention this just in case.
If something happens then we go back to square one, no worries, please we don't want you to stop talking with us.
Spring weather, I love it with all the leaves on the silver birch trees, my favourite trees.
Can I ask you a question what is the Ports course?
Take care.
Geoff.

Hi Soup Da Loop (and a wave to all your lovely supporters),
Congratulations on 9 days 🙂 I hope you are feeling proud...that is very admirable.
But, as Geoff thoughtfully and kindly commented, if you do stumble and fall (as we all do), please don’t hesitate to continue talking to us here. You will find gentle understanding and compassion here...
I love jasmine too. The fragrance is divine 🙂
I love the picture you painted for us with your blooming jasmine just outside your window. I personally also love the scent of jasmine in perfumes and makeup. plus I enjoy jasmine tea...blissful sigh...
I like how you’re keeping yourself preoccupied with crafts and walks. I agree that those things can help...
Thank you for the well wishes 🙂 I have been trying to spend a little more time outdoors in the sun. I find sunshine rejuvenating, that is, as long as I apply sunscreen, etc and don’t get sunburnt. Lol.
Always good to hear from you...
Pepper
