Congratulations Lauren

1,000 posts is no mean achievement. It takes a huge amount of time and commitment, so thank you for all the encouragement and wisdom you give so generously.

Hi All,

Thanks for the congratulations. As I have mentioned elsewhere since reaching this milestone, I am just as thankful for this Beyond Blue Forum as I hope people are who receive my posts.

I have plenty of love and care to give and am so pleased I can share it here.

Cheers and hugs of appreciation to you all.

Love and care form Mrs. Dools, Lauren, Doolhof

Thanks TMB for starting this thread.

People like yourself help to make the time and effort put into answering posts so worthwhile.

The same goes for so many people here in  the Beyond Blue Family/Community.

There are some people who tend to post and then don't respond to any replies, guess they have their reasons for this.

Then there are others whom you feel you are helping in some way and who in return help and benefit yourself and others.

To be able to care for another person is a wonderful and fulfilling feeling.

Cheers to you all once again.

Thanks Mrs Dools.

You are more than welcome.

So how are you getting on at the moment? How are the studies and life in general?

Hoping you have some happy moments along the way and you are interacting with some cheerful and nice people.

Cheers for now from Mrs. Dools

Congrats, Lauren.  When I first started here last October, I was 'lost'.  I was in such a 'black' hole I couldn't see daylight.  I've read many of your posts and posted several.  I hope I've been able to help as many as you have.  I've found through reading yours and others posts, I have matured more than with any other help I've had.  My thanks also to Geoff.  We no longer post, but his help has also been invaluable.  I hope I have been able to guide people to the light as you have.  It gives such a warm feeling when we help others overcome despair through 'lost and alone'.  I can't give much guidance when it comes to meds, I'm not qualified. But I've tried to urge sufferers not to stop taking them.  I try and urge sufferers to discuss with G.P's if they're not sure.  It's wonderful that we have BB forums to help and guide us.

Again -congrats.

Regards Pipsy.

Hi Pipsy,

I really enjoy reading your posts too. I appreciate the kind words and suggestions you make to others.

Thanks for your kind words.

When I first came to beyond Blue, there was another lady who used to send in wonderful posts. I used to think, gee I wish I was as knowledgeable and as wise as she was.

Now I realise all I can do is to just be me. Some people will appreciate what I have to write and others will not, and that is okay!

The same goes for all of us here, you too Pipsy, we are all here to try to make a difference in this world of mental health.

Some people come for a little while and then fade away, others stay for quite a while. There may be people out there who do a lot of reading and no posting at all and that is okay as well.

It is wonderful you feel like you have benefited from being part of the BB community and for wanting to help others. Well done to you Pipsy.

I'm certainly no expert in anything either, I just like to try to pass on encouragement the same as you, we all just do it in our own way.

Thanks again for your encouragement!

From Lauren
