Recovering from narcissist abuse

Hi beautiful people

I’m finally here after 4,5 years realising on how bad is becoming my mental health situation and every aspect of my life on dealing with the verbal and physical abuse from my ex partner . It’s been an on and off relationship that traps me on every situation . I’m here by myself without nobody I can talk or express my feelings , just trying to reach out for people that understand what I have been going through without judging me because of how “ weak “ I have been . I just really want to have a group support that allows me encourage myself every time I’m feeling “ like I need him back “ . Thank you so much

Hi Vhnice06,

Welcome back and hope you are well.

I have the following book, Recovery from Gaslighting & Narcissistic Abuse, Codependency & Complex PTSD, by Don Barlow. It’s a three in one package. Available online from a few book sellers.

It is a self help book and not light reading. It opened my eyes to all ways that I had been abused. It’s trauma based therapy for the reader. It can get pretty heavy reading so be prepared for a lot of crying. I recommend having someone to talk to through this. I didn’t have anyone to confide in except to share my grief with my abuser. It made me angry at times.

I was meant to get out earlier before the abuse escalated but I am still stuck here with it all.

Keep in touch and feel free to vent when you need to.

All the very best and wishing you some peace in recovery. Fiatlux 🙏🏼
