Hi,
I recently separated from my husband, 30 years together, 2 children, high school sweet hearts, I am heart broken.
I do not even know where to start my healing process, I am sad, I am lonely.

Hi,
Welcome to the forums and thank you for reaching out to us.
I am so sorry to hear what you are going through, separating after so long together must feel very difficult to come to terms with. Have you reached out to talk to anyone? Friends, family, counselling?
I think you need to give yourself a bit of time to adjust then perhaps find things to do that help distract your thoughts for a while. Perhaps something that you have always wanted to learn but didn't have time for. Call a friend or friends and arrange a get together for lunch or dinner in an interesting setting. Spending time in nature will also be quite healing for you at this time. Perhaps a visit and walk through a botanical garden, a zoo, or just sitting by a lake and feeding the birds. Even spending time in your garden would be a good start.
We will be here to support you, you are not alone.
Take care,
indigo
