Hey there,
Welcome to the Forums. We are glad that you have been able to find us here and reach out with this question which we understand may be tough to talk about. We appreciate your willingness to share.
It is understandable to feel cautious. It can feel like big responsibility to think of an emergency contact and extra challenging when we find it hard to trust other people. Emergency contacts do not always have to be what we might traditionally think of – even a neighbour can act as an emergency contact if you feel comfortable.
It is a great question. If you ever want to talk things through further, please know you can always contact the beyond Blue Support Service on 1300 22 4636 or via: https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/
Thank you once again for sharing here. We hope that you can feel that this is a safe and supportive space for you to share what is going on for you.
Kind regards
Sophie M
