I realize how much heart-ache, loss and grief you must feel to be so abruptly cut off from what appeared to be a developing close relationship.
Although you loved her there was a side to her nature that was hidden. She obviosly did not value the relationship and has little care for your welfare. When somebody else who struck her fancy came along she went with them.
You may think me hard-hearted to say this but I think unintentionally she has done you a big favor. To be with her a lot longer, maybe even set up a permanent relationship and then find how self-centered and callous she is would have been so much worse.
You sound a sensitive loving guy how can have fun in conversations, please do not take this as being a reflection on you, it is all down to her.
May I suggest that even if you don't really feel like it at the moment you do pay attention to your social life - even if only as a distraction, and then see what happens
