Hi, welcome
No wonder you're sad about this development, its a huge change.
These changes are common in adult life, our lives are altered from what we've always known, its our security and divorcing parents would make you really upset.
But you can think of it this way- if your parents remained together and were unhappy, would that be better? I think its best they try to live happily yes?
I've moved a million times. At 17yo i joined the Airforce so you can imagine living all over Australia. Some people move to get work also. Its common but its hard until you make new friends. Now with social media you can keep in touch with old friends and when you get a car go and visit them.
Your parents need all the support you can give them as its a sad time for them. If they say bad things about the other parent just ignore it because they are hurting at the moment.
THE LOVE BIRD
"Just as the love bird finishes her nest the wind blew it away
She hoped and waited for another sunny day
Then gathered more sticks and much more clay
To make a new home where baby birds lay..."
And the babies grew to make new friends
And whistled loving words to parents to send
And even though separate the babies still sing
And thats why the love bird spreads its wings...
To be a love bird you need the love
To grow love from a nest above
And your love you spread is in doing your best
And it started high above where baby bird rests...."
what do you think?
