Hello,

Welcome and thank you for reaching out to us.

The best advice I can give you is to talk with a Financial Counsellor, their services are free of charge and can give you advice on the best ways to get back on your feet. They can also help with letters to creditors if need be.

I would also be having a talk with your children about contributing some money to help you get out of debt.

I hope this is of help to you.

Take good care of yourself,

indigo

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you're in this tough spot.

It may be helpful to open up a conversation with your children about their contributions to the household for the period that they stayed with you, and how much their reimbursement will help support you, and in turn help you in supporting them too.

Financial counselling does sound like it would be a beneficial option for you at this stage, just to talk through what you might be able to do from here. There might be various grants and government services that would be useful to check out, so it could be worth having a Google search about what might be available for you.

I hope this helps, I wish you all the best.

Take care, SB
