My immature classmates have been playing these extremely loud meme sounds, whilst making an extremely overstimulating environment.
They won't stop no matter how many times the teacher tells them.
My anxiety levels are at its peak and I have no idea what to do!!
Someone please give me some advice on how I can deal with my anxiety and my sensory needs.

Hi Dawnii,
I'm really sorry you are having a negative experience in class. It is frustrating when other classmates won't consider the sensory needs of fellow classmates. Does your school have a SWPBS - s positive behaviour strategy? This is framework of values for student behaviour at school. Schools and teachers have a responsibility to create and maintain safe and inclusive learning environments, it is a professional teaching standard. Usually the positive behaviour framework includes behaviour expectations to support safe classrooms. Teachers can use the framework to explain to the students that their behaviour is not helping maintain a safe learning environment. The teachers instruction for them to stop the disruption then becomes one of classroom consideration and mutual respect rather than authorative power and behaviour suppression.
