Hello,
Welcome and thank you for reaching out to us.
I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this, I have been through a situation over family estate, so I can empathise.
It would be helpful if you are comfortable expanding on your post, I am happy to help, just need a little more to go on.
Estates can definitely bring out the worst (or true) side of people who you thought you knew. It is a product of the society we live in, that money means more than people in so many cases.
You are not alone.
Take care and hope to hear from you,
indigo

A very warm welcome to you at such an incredibly challenging time in your life.
Settling an estate can depend on so many different factors including
- whether a will has been left
- the nature of the people involved
- our own personal feelings and whether we're facing a huge sense of grief
- how much guidance we have or don't have in regard to settling the estate
- the complexity of it all (how much is involved)
and so on.
I'm wondering whether you have any constructive and supportive guidance at this time in your life and whether your family are more 'matter of fact' people, rather than deeply feeling people.
My heart goes out to you as you experience such a challenging time. ❤️
