A great grandma at 47. Hmmm....

• The 5th generation of my family is due to arrive in a month and I'm 47 years old!!!  I'll be a great grandmother and my daughter will be a grandma at age 30. This is not my ideal situation and I'm focusing on the fact we'll have 5 generations and that's a rare opportunit for our family... Great Great Grandma is 70, going on 50! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm having trouble getting enthusiastic about ANY of it and I feel terrible for my granddaughter. She has all of us though... Wish us luck please! 🤞 🤞🍀

Well congratulations to all of you. I do fail to identify with any problems with this situation however maybe as I haven't lived it. At 70yo im going to be a grandfather next March for the 1st time.

So, I'd forecast most people would be ecstatic. Being an unusual family structure doesnt equate to any wrong. Perhaps you can tell us why its problematic?

My aunty was a grandma at 35yo. The only concern she had was her daughter falling pregnant at 17yo which was only one year young than her when she fell pregnant lol

So is age the problem?
