Don't know where to start.
Only just started therapy.
I'm scared of the way I look.
I'm a lot calmer than I look
I'm trying very hard to feel peacefull on the inside, regardless of how I'm treated
Peace?

Dear Happyness
May I ask how many sessions you’ve had with the therapy so far and is that with a psychiatrist or psychologist??
Have you been referred for any anti-depressants to take??
Peace on the inside and calmness is awfully hard for those of us afflicted with mongrel illness – it’s going to take time.
I do hope you can get back to us – I would love to hear more about you.
Kind regards
Neil

dear Happyness, thanks for joining us.
I tend to wonder from your post is that you are trying to keep the lid on the kettle, as it's boiling away, and ready to explode, because when people say 'I'm keeping my cool', this does worry me, I hope that I am wrong. Geoff.

probs not much help... but for what its worth
afraid of the way you look? why not let others make that choice
the way i got over feeling scarded in big crowds was realising not everyone was looking at me, and mostly they forget pretty soon.
i think a lot of people are screwedup in the way they bully talk down to and treat others in todays society, just think the only people that matter to you are people with in your circle of trust, others can joiun and some csan leave, but haters and bullys are part of today culture..
just think of the leaps and bounds towards your goals with a little focus, worring is just slowing a person down, but it is hard to dealt with the feeling
hopefully in time you can get some stratagies to ease this feeling and hey just remember not everyone is thinking bad stuff. peace:)

Hello
i can only keep it brief
over the last few years
i faint or black out and fall to the ground
some of you might know how scary this is
and the anxiety it causes
and the worry it causes
and the loss of confidence
does anyone know what the mind-body response is
and any suggestions

dear Happyness, your on a site where people are depressed but we endeavour to make them happy as much as we can, because this is a positive way of helping them also.
These black outs are quite disturbing however, and there are several issues to consider, your blood pressure is too high or too low, so a blood test and a trip to your doctor who will take your blood pressure will say either way.
I had to cut my bp tablets in half because I kept falling over, but I just wonder whether anyone has seen you fall over and weren't having a seizure, and again your doctor will do some more tests.
Take care and please let us know. Geoff.
