Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years of age, female. My interests include music (any genre), reading a great novel, watching comedy, Restuaranting, and learning new things. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Depression feels very lonely for me. I'd like to reach out for some support. Thank you.

Hi Tay, Tay,
Are you feeling bit better today?

Hey Bluberry.

I'm ok, had a bad nightmare last night though. How are you? My thread is "hi everyone, I'm back" if you want to check it out, I explained more there. No pressure to comment on it though

Hi all well had another psych appointment today which was good and she went through this other test thing with me & now clinical depression has been thrown into the ring with everything else. Although not surprising as I scored 44 or 46 on the first k10 rest I did and my gp she’s given me another k10 to do.

Hey all,

Ems, I think he was just having a bad day - I did my own thing and made myself scarce. What I'm thinking and what I want to do are two totally different things. It cannot happen, I don't want to screw things up, Ems. I just feel mmm, you know? He's very easy on the eyes, damn it!! I don't have a fav. Georg Jensen - I just love his designs. I have an elongated silver clock sitting on my bedside table, its really beautiful. Candle stick wise, I like square solid silver ones.

Tay, Tay I get horrific nightmares still from my trauma. They will wane within time, but still present itself in waves. Theyre scary and horrible, I know. I'm sorry to hear that.

Hey Mocha, glad to hear you had a proper diagnosis. How are you?

Sleepy, yeh missing your ex in waves is normal. I didn't mean to use "miss" I meant reminiscing and I still think of him from time to time. We shared some amazing time together in the 15 years of knowing each other. His nickname for me was 'Cheeky'. He used to say I'm as cheeky as my butt. lol.

I do home touches in a lot of silver, yes. But also white (white pots etc). I don't have a lot of ornaments around the house. I don't need them. Silver candlesticks, small indoor plants & succulents in clear and white pots, lamps. My home is mostly decorated as statement pieces are my furniture (nice furniture makes the place). For example, I have a VERY heavy square 8 seater dining table with chrome legs. The chairs are white leather with chrome legs and a big square light grey rug with darker grey trelis patterns in it underneath. Centre of the table I placed a medium sized (8 stems) of white, artificial phalaenopsis orchid plants in a clear round vase filled with brown tanbarks - got from a home shop (its stunning). THATS IT! doesn't need anything else on it.

I would go mirrored side tables. They go with all colour scheme. I love them. But be careful that they're not too girly. If you have an eye, try get one that look more masculine, square and again clean lines. They're nice. Hope this helps.

xx

Hi blueberry no, no official diagnosis/s yet and still more down then up

*Heavy square glass dining table with chrome legs bundles at the top and out, the legs look amazing.

Hi mocha

Things are pretty tricky when different diagnoses are being thrown about.

This has happened with Yvette too.... it was stressing me out.

Then this week I simply thought, she is still HER, I love her and she's still the same bbg I love.

So hopefully there's a core of you that you believe in regardless of what others say about you.
A STRONG core that's authentic.

I hope you find some peace with all this going on around you.

Love EM

Chin up Mocha. Do things that make you happy :-)
Xx

Hi Blubes... from MHIs to interior design lol... it's a swingin' hot spot here!

Or there!

Lol, well IDK how you guys are gonna stand it in that hot house of yours but I hear you!
I'll Pray for you! LOL!

BACK to interior design lol!!!

I have my Grandmother's Antique side board in our dining room. It's dark timber (not too dark) with a circular mirror in the centre.
My dining room table is just about the same looking darkness and it's timber too.

But everything around it is white, tiles and walls.
I have photos of all the kids in silver frames on the wall around it.

Anyway I often put my gorgeous big round white platter - like a flattish height on it or on my dining room table.
Then I saw Georg Jensen's silver platter! Now I want a round silver something on it lol.
Omg I could spend the WHOLE of my cabin money on that stuff lol.

I have a similar look in my hallway but it has this HUGE Antique mechanic's workbench there.
I found it under the house when we moved here and moved it upstairs to the hallway with 4 people helping! I had to polish it up big time - I LOVE IT.

It has an in built black rubber surface on the top of it with these 2 amazing levered drawers. It's about 2.5 metres long.
I think a silver platter would go nicely there but I bought a gold one because of my huge gold gilded mirror on the other wall.

I have a gorgeous sculpture of like a Virgo lady on it at the end. Right near the silver drop hall light.

I'm struggling with the gold AND silver now.
I can't change my mirror - maybe I can to silver IDK... actually it might look really nice in silver?
I think Spotlight still sells gilding kits.

I'm seeing things differently with all this talk of Int design lol.. it's fun!

Basically I'm just neatening things up atm. Doing some heavy scrubbing etc too and the kids are really impressed! lol. Wish they'd help! But I'll take "impressed" lol.

Love EM
