Hi all

Hope this thread helps and excuse me if there is one along this line already.

I have been in pain now for some months - thankfully my GP hasn't given up on me but how do others deal with chronic pain. I find it is just adding to my feeling disappointment in what I cannot do and is preventing me balancing medications, anti anxiety measures and PTSD, I am having Physio, dry needling (acupuncture), medications and have tried ice, heat, relaxation and yoga but had to give the Yoga away because of my hip.

All and any suggestions welcome!

Thanks Robbie .I am trying to do something and am back to see my psychologist in a couple of days. It's not easy though, but nothing ever is!

Thanks Quercus

I am not able to get back in a pool yet and have just had the stitches out today from the surgery.Back to Specialist next week..I shall keep working on it.

It's not easy though as I have a deadline to meet for my all time favourite sport...I just want to get fit fast but my body is letting me down.

I am recovering too from a huge episode emotionally and quantifying the fight is posing some troubles as well.I will keep at it though!

Wow did not know ptsd and coronic pain have a connection. Been reading your posts and others. It has helped very much. Was about to give up life, tired of the fight. Thank you that is all the members on here. Reading this stuff has given me hope.
