Bullying

I was bullied for supporting the LGBTQ+ community and showing it. It was a horrible experience, but a valuable one as well.

But I can't shake the feeling that it's going to happen again. I see a counsellor at school and I'm moving forward with my life, but I think that I should get some still existing thoughts out at a place where everyone will really understand.

Yes there are several social issues in our country that have sparked conflict- immigration, gay marriage etc.

All I can say is stick to what you believe.

Hi Poetpep,

Firstly, thank you for showing your support to the LGBTQI+ Community. I identify as a gay male so i appreciate all the support as we're all equal. I'm so sorry that you experienced bullying as a result for expressing your support. If it continues, you should mention it to the student services or a teacher. Bullying isn't acceptable anywhere and you shouldn't be subjected to it.
