Hi RunGirl,
Firstly, apologies for the delay in my posts back to you, I see Croix & Geoff have been keeping you company which is great. I think it is good of you that you were responding to your ex and trying to help but he has to learn to keep boundaries. It isn't fair to your current partner as all.
How have you been? Any improvement on the liver?
My best,
Jay

Hi Jay, no need to apologise. every reply is a gift. To you and Croix, I have reinforced the 3 month non-contact ban and this time I pledge not to be coerced out of it. I have ignored several manipulative messages already. You are both right that this not fair on P, true he plunged into a relationship with me knowing my background but he is a good, sweet, caring and patient man who deserves respect in this.
thank guys, you're holding me together

Sorry Jay, to answer your question about the liver, no I won't find out anything more until Jan 17 when I get to see the specialist again. The GP says it looks a bit fatty but not crucially so. So I wait and catastropise, as is my default habit 😄

Dear RG~
I'm impressed you are reinforcing that 3 month ban, I don't think you could have done that when you first came here.
You know yourself, and know you think the very worst, it most probably will not work out that way. Every report you have mentioned so far is encouraging, you are on a roll.
To find someone like P, and for him to find someone like you , is to be treasured. I am in that happy situation too, and it makes both my partner and I complete.

Hi RunGirl,
I am glad that you have re-enforced the 3 month no contact policy especially out of respect for your partner. That is great. I think it is also needed for your own mental health too. We are always here to help. Croix has been doing a great job talking to you and giving the best advice possible.
I too have a fatty liver so I know the feelings of finding out you have something similar. All you can do now is start working on getting better and eating the right foods and doing what the doctor says.
My best,
Jay

i have to to tomorrow to get the results of my blood tests. I'm a bit terrified it will be really bad. I want to run. I guess I'm just venting fear right now. Thanks for listening.
Best
