Hearing that your son could be in danger or trouble is no small thing... it sounds like this might be a matter for police to investigate and we encourage you to contact your local police so they can support you, Deb.
Have you heard from your son at all? It’s important to note that sometimes scammers make very legitimate sounding calls like this, so we just wanted to check if you’ve been able to make contact with your son directly. Perhaps there is something more happening here?
