I care.
Welcome, Perhaps I'll use my own example. Briefly, I'm 70yo, 2 children now in their 30's. My 1st wife and I married in 1985, she 19, me 29yo. From the very first night I knew something was wrong but it took many years to find out. She used silence as a weapon and many other narcissistic traits. Marring for 11 years we never really bonded. In fact had she not fallen pregnant I would have separated the next week, all planned out. But a week prior to leaving 7 years alter I'd made an attempt on my life. My dad said "better to be the best part time dad than no dad at all". RIP. So I left and built my own home paid support and was treated terribly for the 14 years left till my youngest was 18yo. I then told my ex never to speak to me again and she hasnt that was 15 years ago. It all cost my relationship with my youngest as I was demonised. My eldest lived with me since 12yo and we remain very close.
