Hi all,
This discussion is a space for all members to share suggestions and ideas to improve the Forums. This can be anything. Navigation, notifications, topics and themes, moderation, community rules, or something else!
We'd love to hear about what you think we can do better. We are really grateful to everyone who has contributed their ideas already, and we're always keen to hear more.
Kind regards,
Sophie M

Hi Whatsinaname,
We can see how that would be really helpful.
Don't worry about repeating older posts in this thread. If we hear the same feedback from different members it actually helps us understand how important the idea is to the community.
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards,
Project Team

Hi tranzcrybe,
That's an interesting one. Active indicators are often displayed in private chat apps that are designed for more real-time conversations. Some community members may feel pressure to respond if other members can see an active indicator. That could be solved by making the active indicator a feature each member can choose to enable.
Thank you for your feedback!

Hi blondguy,
Thank you for clarifying. quirkywords, Paw Prints and Croix have felt the same way so we can see there is broader interest in this from others who are active on the Forums like you.
We’ll take this into account when prioritising which improvements are made to the Forums.
Kind regards,
Project Team

Hello forum management staff members
Do you still have active individual member/champion post count records after the change to this 'new and improved' platform? Just following up on my previous enquiry
Thankyou for your attention

Hi blondguy,
We do. All posts from the old platform were migrated to the current platform and remain connected to the Forums member that created them. Although the records exist, the current platform doesn't display post counts of members by default. While it doesn't do this by default, the current platform is technologically much more advanced than the old one. It enables us to grow this community in ways we couldn't before.
Displaying post counts for members is not a change we can make with the flick of a switch. At the time, the decision not to proceed with displaying these on the current platform was based on cost and value to the community.
There are many changes that can be made so we prioritise these to ensure we remain focused on where we can have the biggest positive impact to the community and their mental health. When we prioritise we assess community demand, how many members will be affected by the change, how big that effect is, and the resources that will be needed to make the change.
Kind regards,
Project Team

I wonder is it possible for individuals to access their personal count so as to not to affect others. As a champion I lose track of my daily counts so access would help me.
I understand your concerns as stated.

Dear Quirky
You can see a running total of your posts from when you started, its just hidden away:
1) Hit your Profile Picture (next to the Immediate Support Button)
2) See PROFILE and scroll down
3) See Discussions you're following and scroll down
4) See Private Stats and underneath that is one of the headings
Replies xxxxxxx
where xxxxxxxx is the number of posts you have made
Hope this helps
