Hi all,
This discussion is a space for all members to share suggestions and ideas to improve the Forums. This can be anything. Navigation, notifications, topics and themes, moderation, community rules, or something else!
We'd love to hear about what you think we can do better. We are really grateful to everyone who has contributed their ideas already, and we're always keen to hear more.
Kind regards,
Sophie M

Hi Summer Rose and everyone!
Like everyone else I am trying to navigate my way around the new platforms too!
I hear you loud and clear about trust Summer....and thats a good point...You have been on the forums for a long time providing caring support to new members from your own life experience
Just regarding trust....If I was still on Facebook then I would be be very concerned about my personal information
Im sorry you have doubts about your own information on the forums SR
my kind thoughts to you
Paul

Hello Summer Rose, thanks for your comment and yes the forums have been a large part of my life for such a long time, but just wish some of us were consulted before all of this happened, whether or not Champions had this option I don't know, but some only have a few posts (20) and made a Champion, whereas others have been helping others for such a long time, so perhaps a model should have shown to us, to minimise all of these questions, uncertainties.
IT experts work on the technology of the computer, whereas we function on the practicality and easiness of using these forums, normally the two find it difficult to understand each other.
Geoff.

Hi Sophie M, if 'New Posts' is returned it would be much better because then we know who was last and replied to a particular post, whereas at the moment, all we have is a thread that could be 2 years old and have to open it to find out who has replied last of all, too time consuming.
The same applies when you click 'newest to oldest' a post two years ago might appear but again we don't have any idea who posted the last reply.

Hi Sophie, as you type a reply it says down the bottom that 'Your content was last auto-saved', so where do we find this if we lose a pc connection.
Thanks.

Hi Sophie, got it, it's in our email box if you have clicked for this to happen, however, it adds to a multitude of other emails from the forums, that's why My Threads was better.

Maby a New Member tag could be put in place for the first month or so as this might help people identify a new members post.

Hi Paul
Lovely to hear from you and thanks for your kindness.
I hope you get up-to-speed on the new forums without too many challenges! Smallwolf started a tips thread, which I’m following and it’s helpful.
Kind thoughts to you

I thought it was just me. I think I will give up using the forums as I can't find anything so it is too stressful to use.
