Hello

I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.

Thanks

sitting hear , like a old fool

Hey Wayne

Yes I did have a good day today. And do you know those contagious giggles that go around? Like something funny happens, someone laughs, then someone else catches it or something. Well I did catch it, it felt good to giggle. But I was a little embarrassed at the noise coming from my mouth though.

I am glad you had a good time with your neighbours, I am guessing you didn't have to cook anything, but I don't know for sure. And how old is your little granddaughter? Sometimes I wish I was a little girl still.

Have a good day tomorrow Mr Shaun the Sheep bah bah bah

Hugs

Hi all,

I was writing a message for this forum and it ended up being much much longer than i thought. I tried to send it over multiple posts but the moderators deleted some of them so the post which is displayed doesn't give you context.

I have spent a lot of time trying to articulate the realisations that have occurred for me the past week. They have been really profound and i'm compelled to share them.

But first i wanted to add my opinion that regarding the words depression and anxiety. They are made up words and now people attach themselves to the label. How can you classify all those emotions and feelings into two words, its far more complicated and intricate than that. The media are making the problem worse by promoting its awareness now too. Please try your best to free yourself from labelling your emotions this way. don't fall in the trap, don't let it lock on and make you feel like you have a defect, a problem and less of a person than everyone else.

There are a lot of people who feel weak, lonely, unfortunate etc BUT we need to learn that we don't need to be, we are more human and real than most people. It's because we have these feelings and experiences that allow us to seriously contemplate things, see through the fake/superficial people, know what raw and powerful emotion actually feels like, and place value on the things that really matter. Don't you realise... we are special. we just have to properly understand this.

Its absolutely ok to feel upset, sad, unmotivated, confused, angry, lonely, worthless. We are human! and its alright to feel this way for a while too, Its our life, not anyone else's. I've gone though a period where i didn't really get out of bed for a year. So what, who cares, its no one else's business. It was my choice, thats how i wanted to deal with it, i took the time absorb these feelings and recover how i needed to without any pressure from anyone. It wasn't random, there were reasons i felt this way and thats ok.

We care deeper than most and thats why we feel like this. Most of what you see is fake, lives on social media are all fabricated. Society has been manipulated to control everyone. Media and the news are infecting us. What i've realised is that we can have more purpose in life than most other people.

Morning Shelley,

Yeah, I do like sudoku puzzles, and I am pretty good at them.  Manage to work through the difficult ones.  I think my OCD helps a little too.  Its all about patterns and things.  Thats one of the things I do - count stuff and do silly calculations and things with numbers, and make patterns and build things in my mind.  Like brick walls, pavements, digital clocks, all that.  Its very annoying when your brain always has to try to make something from nothing.  I do lots of other crazy silly stuff too, but wont go into that.

And yes Shelley, I am a little better now thanks.  I think Christmas Day was just a temporary lapse for me, and I did it pretty hard.  But should be okay again now, at least until I do the family visits in January I expect.

I may catch you at The BB Cafe later?  Love to have a nice quiet cuppa with you.  If not, enjoy your day.

Sherie xx

Hello Sandy232

Well I want to give you a big warm hug, and say to you, it is OK if you just want to sit, I do that too. That is I read what others say sometimes, but don't say much. But I am very interested in you, and would love to know you a bit. So you if you are reading this today, please please know I care about you. And I hope you are OK.

Many hugs

Hi Shelley,

yep, enjoyed Star Wars. I can imagine the opening had a real energy to it. I had a few friends who went who were very excited.

I completed a small puzzle yesterday and made a start on another. I like most kinds of puzzles and games. We have some fun board games we play sometimes.

im still sad at the thought of that little willy wagtail. I hope the little babies in the nest are ok. I might have a look up the ladder and see what I can see.

i took the dogs for a walk through the city yesterday. It was busy with everyone shopping in the sales. They got quite a few pats and they would welcome some from you too. We sat and had a juice and watched the people, they were all so busy and bustling. I couldn't believe people were waiting in lines to shop.

i hope you have a lovely day Shelley. It's going to get warm here again, 36/37 so we might try and go for a swim.

still waking up with this annoying tension. Hoping I can soon have a morning without the fearful feeling.

Hi everyone,

I hope you all can find a way to realise how much value and love you are giving.

Theres a story on booksie by the author Hunting Happiness. Its called The purpose of life. See if you can search and find it and have a read.

I was thinking about documenting all the tiny little things i do daily and then come up with a list of ideas that i can look to do when i get the opportunity. I'm going to flip it around though.. rather than a list that creates competition for myself by always feeling like i need to do bigger things i'm going to try and find the most intricate, the things that require really special thought or care that most people wouldn't even recognise. Its these things that really matter because they are thoughtful and come from the soul, they are often overlooked. Here are a few things i started with today...

- I put out a plate of bread for the birds in the back yard. They are peaking to have found this feast. Today they wont need to keep searching just to eat.

- I picked up some litter from my neighbours front garden strip. Now she will have one less thing to do today, and her little flowers can look nice for everyone to see. She wont know it and thats the nice part about it.

- I stopped and thought about my sister. Really thought about her and how beautiful she is. I wrote an out of the blue message to her.. 'I was thinking about you. You are such an awesome person. You rock. Don't get all cheesy on me now, just want to say I love you.'

Its amazing to feel that i put this positive energy out into the world. I'm going to stop pressuring myself and letting other pressure me into thinking i have to do everything, because i often i end up doing nothing as a result and thats worse. Anything is better than nothing.

I noticed a lot of people have dogs here. Do you stop and realise how special it is for you to care for your little companion, you give so much value everyday. And look at the smiles and positive mood you put people in when they stop to give your dog a pat. That is so awesome.

I try and visualise the positive energy i'm putting out as a colour, mine is a swirl of purple and pink with sparkles. When i do do nice things, just little things, i can see it spreading out there in the world and making it just that little bit brighter. I can feel the birds, my neighbours garden and my sister awash in this colour today. Feels nice.

I'll keep going with the little things and start building my lists.

Hello hunting happiness

Just letting you know that I did read some of your other posts that you posted. They were here on this thread, but seem to not be here now. You write very deeply, and to be truthful, I don't seem to be able to understand fully what you are saying. I 'm sorry.... I really want to though. So I hope that is OK?

You know sometimes I think I have noticed people that don't seem to think as deep as me. I am unsure what else to write here to you now.

I hope you are truly going OK today.

With hugs to you

Shelley xx
