Hello

I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.

Thanks

Morning all, hope you had a lovely Christmas Day.

im thankful to say my morning anxiety waned around 10:30 and I was able to enjoy a nice lunch and time with my boyfriends family.

its back again this morning but hopefully with time it will disappear again. Just need to work on those intrusive thoughts.

Morning CW.  Glad you were able to enjoy Christmas lunch.  I think that you are like me, the intrusive thoughts will always be there unfortunately.  Have you popped into The BB Cafe yet?  It looks good!

Thanks Sheire, I popped into the cafe and said hi. didnt lower the tone by mentioning my intrusive thoughts.

i got some puzzles for Christmas and I might give one or two a go this morning to get my brain working on other things.

i honestly hate these thoughts most out of all of the effects of my conditions.

Yeah, its hard.  The intrusive thoughts bring on the anxiety and its a merry old cycle.  If only we could discover a successful way of stilling all those thoughts, then the anxiety may improve as well.  What a nice thought!

I enjoy puzzles too.  I like trying different ones, but I always do the crosswords, word games and sudoku in the Daily Telegraph.  We get our paper delivered out to us every day.  A bit spoilt really as we live 8 kms out of town, but they have a number of deliveries out our way, so its worthwhile for them to do it.  The puzzles act as a distraction for me, and like you said, keeps the old brain active as well.  ha ha.

Might see you at the cafe later when I call in.

Ugh, I just saw some sort of hawk catch a little willy wagtail in my backyard. They have a nest in the tree by my back door. I felt sick when i saw it and immediately had thoughts I'd rather not repeat.

ive just started a puzzle hopefully that will help

Oh no, what a shame.  I really love little willy wagtails.  They are such happy, busy little characters.

Enjoy the puzzle and keep your mind distracted for a while.

Hi Shelley,

I hope your doing good today, did you have a nice day yesterday? I had a nice time with my neighbour and his family. My son always  rings me xmas day from where ever he is so that was nice I also spoke to my granddaughter she is so beautiful.

I have posted a photo of Lucy so you all could  see her but it has not appeared as yet..maybe latter it will appear?.

It has rained a little this morning which is a good thing as we need it down here.

Can see some light a the end of the tunnel regarding my build (house) which makes me feel good and I don't seem to be worrying about it to much of late.

Hope to hear from you soon. Take care.

Hi Wayne,

So pleased you had a good Christmas yesterday.  And you had calls from your son and granddaughter.  Do they live far from you?  How old is your granddaughter?  I have 6 grandkids ranging in age from 16 thru to 3yo.

Still no photo of Lucy has come up.  It must not have accepted your changes.  Perhaps it was sensored!  Did you photograph Lucy in the nude or something?  Sorry, just being silly.  I have been waiting all day to see her photo, and still waiting, so I'm just disappointed is all.

Oh lucky you, more rain.  Good for the pastures and all your ewes and little lambs.  Not cold, so it wont hurt the newborn lambs at all.

It will be a big day when you finish the house.  What will it be - 2 or 3 bedroom?  What rooms, etc?  I cant wait for the housewarming party.     Ha ha   I'll bet Lucy will think its great too.  No more overheated containers.\

Okay, off to bed now.

Look after yourself and give Lucy a pat from me.

Hello hunting for happiness

I am so sorry for your loss of your dear mum. And that is sad about your fiance having a brain injury. Is she getting any better? I am wanting to send you a hug. Would that be OK? Not sure if it helps at all, but please know that I do care. And you choosen name... "Hunting for Happiness", is that want you are actually hunting for? I so much hope you find it . I wish I could show you.

I have read all your posts here too. The first one a few times over. You seem like such a deep thinker, and thinking about matters of our very existence. Like why are we here? Or what is our purpose for even existing or living. To be truthful, I have often question my own purpose for living. I have not found a clear answer yet. However I have pondered the fact we were created to love, know, feel and experience connection to other people. And it has been only recent that I have experienced some sort of connection to others. I so much want to understand more of what you are saying, for I sense there is some important point you are trying to get across. So I will keep reading in hope more will come to light in my mind. Is that OK?

Well I am not sure what else to say.

But sending you many hugs

Hey CW, did you enjoy the Star Wars movie the other night? My son went to see that on the first night, or rather first early morning that it was showing. He said the atmosphere was sort of excited or something and that there was a variety of ages watching it. Star wars has been around for as long as I can remember.

Yeah I like some puzzles as well, and games like pictionary and scattergories ( not sure of spelling there) doesn't look right???

I even like playing with children's toys with little children. I played with a cute little tea set on Christmas day. Ah way fun...

Sorry that you saw the poor willy wag tail. They are such cute birds, especially how they wiggle like that.

Can you give a pat to your dog's from me, will they receive it from a stranger?

Well have a blessed day tomorrow CW.

Hugs to you
