Worthless

Hello

I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.

Thanks

Ah thankyou Sherie for rambling on, I really loved hearing how your day went for you. It sounded way cool.... And gave me more of a glimpse of you or something. It helped me to feel connected.

Thats good, I'm glad.

Just realised though that I probably didnt really say what the work entailed.  It is essentially an accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping role.  But with some extra duties thrown in like taking minutes at meetings, doing some correspondence etc.  It will be quite varied, which is ideal.

Unlike some of the obviously highly talented and creative members of this thread (advertising, journo's, etc), I am not at all creative I'm afraid.  I have always admired those who are creative, musical and artistic.  Definitely something I'm not, much as I may have liked to be.  Its in my nature to be very methodical, and accuracy is vital.  That description may well give you more insight into what I'm like than all the rest.

Thanks for the hug.  One back to you.........

Sherie I am so pleased for your first day. It sounds like this is going to be a really nice place to work, the people sound lovely. I want to say I'm proud of you without sounding condescending; hopefully you know what I mean.

Wayne I'm sorry about the heat, but glad you popped in. At least it's cooling for you, I think the heat has come here, its going to be 39 tomorrow. Sometimes when its really hot here I wet a blanket and make the dogs sit on it. They don't like water but I'm paranoid they are going to overheat.
Do sheep get hot? Thats probably a silly question, but I've never thought about it before.

Shelley how are you feeling now? Did having some time with your tears help? I hope so.

Thank you all for being wonderful.

Thanks Chicken.  Appreciate that.  And it did not come across as condescending at all.  I'm pretty hopeful about it all.  Oh no, you've got the hot weather back again.  I thought it was going to be only mid 20's for Christmas Day over there?  It will need to drop off pretty quickly then.  My little dog feels the heat too, and the cold.  She has only a very fine coat of hair.  Even when its fairly hot, she still crawls under the doona of our bed, the little bugger.  And she has her own little fluffy blanket, but of course she prefers our bed.  But during the day if its hot, I use a damp cloth to cool her down a bit.  She isnt too keen on water either.

I hope your day picked up a bit as the day wore on.  Have you managed to have that nice breakfast yet?   ( :

Yeah I wouldn't say I was highly talented either. Then again I guess we all do really have different talents and natural gifts. I think this is one of the things that makes us unique. Like I am not methodical at all, I don't think. I am a little creative I think. And I do like playing the flute.

So I guess you need good computer skills for your job then?

Yeah CW I did have a good cry, and also I did what you suggested, I wrapped up Christmas gifts, and stuck on pretty gift tags, I like doing that.

xxxx hug

Do either of you do a special Christmas breakfast? We do I am making pancakes served with fresh berries and cream. Though I am not fond of cream, so I am having some  of this new vanilla coconut yoghurt, that taste a bit like cream.

It's still meant to be cool for Christmas which I am grateful for. It can cool down pretty quick here when there are no clouds to hold it in.

my little man is sitting next to me on the day bed on my front porch watching people walk past on the way to a fair at the school around the corner. He can barely be bothered woofing at them.

i love wrapping too! I spend so much on wrapping paper and ribbon and stuff.

Shelley you write well, I think that's disordered creative!

I usually like to make croissants for breakfast at Christmas. my mum did it when I was little and it's something I liked so I continued it.

Is that a Christmas fair at the school then, it might be. I liked how you worded that about your dog not being bothered to woof.  What are you dogs names anyway?  I used to have a dog, called Coco. But I think I like cats more. Yeah we bought a day bed for our library, which is now I guess not quite a library anymore.....

It's a Christmas fair yes. Well by dinner from there soon. Too hot to cook. I can see children jumping on a bouncy castle from where I sitting.

the bigger dog is Baxter, the little one is Hadley. Hadley is like s cat sometimes. He climbs along the back of the couch and uses a cat door.

I went and got him a cool flannel which he enjoyed. But he's over it now.

Gosh I would love to just have a jump on a bouncy castle, I have never been on one, but it actually looks fun to me.

With Hadley being so small, I guess he can fit through a cat door.
