Hello

I am wanting to know if anyone else feels just worthless. And what they did about that feeling that creeps inside of you.

Thanks

Hi Shelley Anne,

I can sometimes go 1 or 2 weeks without seeing another person, some times it gets a bit hard but hey I've got my little doggie she 's such good company and follows me everywhere.

I had a look around and found the "killer thread" it is light hearted and I would like to join in but I'am not sure if i should not sure what to post.

STS

Hey STS, what is your little doggies name? I am so thankful you have a little dog.

That would not be easy to not see another human for 1- 2 weeks. So is posting here on the beyond blue website helping? I am assuming you may feel more connected to the human race.

I know you live on a property, so is the raising of your lambs like your business then? Sorry if I am too nosey.

Wow a great big crush of thunder just filled the air, where I live. I am just sitting on this chair, near the window listening to the approaching storm.

Yeah sometimes I find it hard to know what to post. In fact if the words don't flow from my heart or head naturally..... well I may just come back later. I do that with all the posts that I .....well post.

Ok bye now STS and I hope you have a great day tomorrow with all your little lambs.

Hi Shaun,

I hope you do not mind if i put in a few comments.

On killer thread. You could post a joke or a short story if u like. Others just claim last place or start some rhymes Shaun the sheep

Sheer the sheep

Hear the beep

Fear the week

Near the meek

Tear the sheet

Feel the beat etc

Do you know any good poems?

Bye for now

The count

Hi Shelley,

My little dog's name is Lucy she is sitting at my feet now, she knows I am not feeling to well-I have been trying so hard of late to stay out of that dark area which gives me so much grief ..but I'am not doing to good recently..I know I'am on a down hill slide and finding it hard to pull up. Knowing what one should do to help one's self is not making it any easier, I will need to put up and just keep going. Like most when I slip into depression I am so exhausted and find doing things so difficult.

To change the subject, yes my business is sheep I have only been doing this for 1 year and I really like it, previously I spent most of my working life as a underground miner.

You have a good one.

Hi Wayne - just having a quick look during lunch and saw your post. Sorry to hear you've not feeling well today. I know that sinking feeling so well and it's very hard to fight isn't it. One thing you know though is that it will pass, and you will surface again. I cling to that when I sink. Give yourself time mate and be kind to yourself.

Thank's for sharing about being clean and sober too, that meant a lot. We mustn't forget how much we've achieved and how much better life is now.

Take care Wayne. Talk again soon eh?

Kaz

Hey The Count

I recognize your name..... The Count from Sesame Street.

Hope you are getting along OK today. Thank you for rhythmic sort of words. It brought a smile from me.....I like it.

Hugs to you

Shelley

Hey Wayne

I'm so sorry too, I long to just reach down there, where you are sliding and pull you out, so you would not have to go that dark place ever again. I long to give you advice or something. But all I seem to be able to do for you, is have a feeling to hug you. Because I care about you. I hope that is OK??

With hugs

Shelley

Hey Count,

I do get it now, all i need to do is think of something funny or i'll just claim last "looks like fun"

Thanks for your response count,

STS

Hey Kaz

Just want to say hello to you today, not quite sure what else to say....

Hugs

Shelley

Hey Wayne

I know what it feels like to slide and slide into that dark place. Please, please know you are not alone, and that I care about you, as many do here on Beyond Blue. I hope you are feeling better though.

And guess what..... I visited my local library yesterday and you popped out it to my vision, there you were on the cover of a DVD, in the children's section. Ah Shaun the Sheep, his picture seems familiar to me now, most likely because I see him every time that I post here. He is quite a cute little fluffy thing, isn't he? along with all his sheep family........ Well I borrowed the DVD, I couldn't just leave it on the shelf. Anyway I have watched it almost to the end. It took a bit to get used to, because no one, or no animal actually spoke.  They just made noises and gestures. Way cool, and as I got used to their ways, I found I could follow the story line. Shaun and his sheep family...well they hid on a bus, and the bus traveled from their farm to the city..... I think they were looking for their owner, who was first in a hospital, then was working in a barber shop. I did really like a section in the movie, where the Sheep family were singing in a harmony of bah bahs. Thanks Wayne for introducing me to Shaun the Sheep......

I truly hope you are feeling better and it is not too hot there at your place. Hug
