dear CC, it's been a bad start to my day as your post and Emdog's post have been an awful beginning for the morning.
Your right, we become so tired on putting on the fake smile, and this only means that depression is taking control.
We aren't the same any more at home, work or if we have to socialise which we try and avoid, so how can we tell the people we love that we aren't feeling well, normally they don't understand because we pretend to be OK, but deep down we are suffering like hell.
They may not see us crying but our lack of interest in doing what they want us to do begins to show and eventually they realise that we aren't well.
You say that you can't talk to people, and this is right because they never understand why we are depressed, or they believe that tomorrow we will be better, and when tomorrow comes and there is no change they begin to get annoyed.
It can be a long road before we start to feel better, or fortunately some people overcome it in a short period of time, but they are lucky, but we need help as well as someone we can actually can talk to, so I'm sure what sort of help you are getting, or if you are taking any medication, which you tell us by replying. Geoff.
