I get there are people out there who are sick but what life they have left to enjoy has been taken because of this lockdown.
I want to go into the high country to get away from people and I can't even do that. I am sick of feeling like a prisoner in my own home surrounded by demands and no escape.
I'm sick of not being able to go to work and having that incompetent excuse for a premier scold the majority whilst he allowed a minority to spread the infection and get away with it. We only have a short life as it is and we can't even be allowed the chance to enjoy that! I've done the right thing, my family and my friends have all done what is asked. Why should we all be punished because he couldn't get his government to do their jobs properly in the first place? I'm sick of being abused both mentally and physically foror his mess up.
I want out

Dear C1986~
I'm not going to give you logical or political argument -the matter goes far beyond that.
I can completely understand your wish to get away, and yes the high country would be a balm to to the soul as would going to work, socializing with family and freinds, and life returning to normal.
We all wish that.
I'm not sure "punished" is the right word, I'm afraid it is simply a fact of life that disasters happen, no matter if it is a pandemic or a tsunami in 2004 that washes away the coast and kills 1/4 million people in Sumatra and Indonesia
One thing I have noticed is such terrible matters tend to bring out the best in people and everything from food deliveries to transport and health have all had people go above bad beyond.
Yes the walls of isolation do close in and frustration and anger builds as a result.
Have you ever thought of taking your mind of these thing by giving a hand? If you look at

You may well find there is something that appeals to you
