Should I still be feeling so up and down while being on a antidepressants? I don’t think still having family drama on one side of my family helps which I have no control over and don’t see the drama ending anytime soon. And still don’t feel anything since my grandma passed away the same week I started on antidepressants. Sleeping wise has improved since my gp prescribed something to help me sleep at night.

Mocha,
To answer your question everyone reacts differently. You have answered that there are many issues in your life which may affect the way you feel.
Have you spoken to your doctor about your moods. I find keep a mood diary of how long moods last for, how intense they are, are they more in morning or afternoon, is there a reason. This may help you see a pattern.
am glad you are sleeping well.

Hi quirkywords no I’ve not spoken to my gp about my moods and not long ago I had a phone appointment with her & I was going to talk to her about how I downplaying how I’ve really been feeling but I didn’t so I think that’s my new coping mechanism ie downplaying my feelings. And I was going to ask about getting a referral to a psychologist but that did not happen either.
