I can go 2-3 weeks without talking to anyone, but at least I could go out for coffee with my assistance dog who is always beautifully dressed n very small n very cute, so she gets a lot of attention n that was my wsy of having communication but now not being able to go out I am finding it so hard. I have suffered with depression n anxiety for many many years, loneliness has been the biggest thing to try n handle I have lived on my own for 30+ years, but lost the last of my family 13+ years ago it has been so very hard.
Now as I have got older n struggling with mobility problems life is just so hard.

Hi Eboni,
Welcome to the forums! I'm so sorry to hear how the lockdown has only made your loneliness worse. But I truly think you have come to the right place. Feel free to look around past threads, introduce yourself in the Welcome and Orientation forum, or share a bit more about your dog in the Social Zone!
You may be physically by yourself but I promise you are not alone. Every day more and more people are coming here for advice, company, and conversation in these tough times. I hope you'll stick around 🙂 I think now more than ever we need to expand our idea of community, and this online one is one of the best there is when it comes to supporting people through difficulties.
Do you have access to food and any medicine you need? While we can help with the isolation, it's important to make sure your physical needs are provided for first and foremost.
Warmly,
Gems

I have to do my shopping, I struggle but get it done, I used to get it home delivered but at the moment that has stopped.
I was able to get my scripts emailed to chemist n picked my medication whilst I stayed in my car xxx

Hi Princess Eboni,
I can only imagine how hard this has been for you given everything you've shared. I think it would be really great for you to get your groceries home delivered if we can help you figure that out and if that's something you'd be interested in.
Glad to hear that you are able to get your meds.
