People talking about me at work

I've been working as a cleaner in an office for a bit over a year now and I really like my job, but some of the people who work there (in one of the computer rooms) talk about me. I know this sort of thing happens at work or anywhere really, but they talk about me A LOT. They even talk about me while I'm in the very next room, thinking I can't hear them.
They say things like "She's so awkward! Like, she's nice enough, but..." (I'm really shy and don't know how to socialize properly), "Why can't she work at a grocery store?" (I tried really hard to get a job in a grocery store, but wasn't successful. Also, if they know how much I struggle socially in this job, shouldn't they realize how much of a mess I would be in a job like that?), "N, use to do her job." "Haha, I love N." "Like, if that is your only job..."
My Mum told me that they are ignorant and still need to learn that for people with disabilities, it takes longer for them to learn how to do things.
A lot of people at work also make fun of how I talk. (I have something wrong with my voice - long story).
I get paid a little under $6 an hour, but my Dad told me I would get paid a lot more if I didn't have a support worker with me. I'm going to be with a new support worker this coming week, but the support worker I had said I was very independent and that I could do the job by myself. I'd be kind of scared to work by myself though because a lot of people there don't seem to really like me.
I'm not really sure what to do though. I would like to work longer hours at this job, but then I'll have to listen to them talk about me more and in the last hour of work, my support worker and I struggle to find more things to do. We ask the people working there if there is anything else they would like us to do and they usually say there isn't anything else. I want to get another job as well, but I don't know where I could work. Maybe in a cafe washing dishes and wiping tables?

We are sorry to hear about what is happening at work, no one should feel picked on in the workplace and it sounds like you are doing your best and we congratulate you for putting in the effort at work.
We wanted to provide some resources that may be of assistance, Heads Up has information on taking care of yourself, staying or returning to work, working with a mental health condition, what to do if you’re the target of bullying, helping a workmate and information on disclosing a mental health condition at work. Feel free to check out the employee section of the site at: https://www.headsup.org.au/healthy-workplaces/for-employees
Employees experiencing a mental health condition or disability are protected under certain laws against discrimination in the workplace, particularly under the national Disability Discrimination Act and equivalent state and territory laws. We’d recommend having a look at our Heads Up page on legal rights and responsibilities: https://www.headsup.org.au/healthy-workplaces/legal-rights-and-responsibilities
Please know that we are always here if you would like to talk, so please don’t hesitate to give the lovely Beyond Blue counsellors a call on 1300 22 4636 or speak to them on webchat here. You could also speak to Relationships Australia on 1300 364 277. We are sure our lovely community will be here with more support and kind words. Thanks for coming here and sharing your story.
Kind regards,
Sophie M

Would it be worth doing extra hours and to start working without a support worker even though they are bullying me a lot? I don't really feel comfortable at work because of this. It would be nice to get paid more though especially since I want to move out one day.
