Feel very depressed I do not see any light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. Married 19 years wife cheated on me for the last 3 of those years, while I was trying to help my mum with alzheimers disease. Few years later met a new girl was with her for 4 years, she left and took most of my money found out later from a family friend of hers that’s all she wanted, now I’m left working long hours trying to get on top of bills with nothing to show for it just seems pointless, I’m now 52 have been told to take cholesterol and blood pressure tablets but atm I don’t see the point

Financial stress can be taxing on us, we need to find solutions that result in a better outlook on life as a priority.

I'm sad that the last woman took your money. One form of relief is to go bankrupt which will restrict your ability to get a loan for 3 years. White goods etc can be purchased on loan. Anyway if your loans are too much to bare thats one way. Seeking out a family law solicitor and see if you can take action against her.

Take your Cholesterol and blood pressure tablets because you wont feel so bad when the grief cycle changes for the better. Those tablets will prevent heart issues, please take care of yourself.

I've had several long term relationships and I didnt give up, eventually found a great lady that doesnt take advantage of me. You are a good man, tell yourself that daily and good of you looking after your mother.

Thanks White Knight, I went back to doctors yesterday and got Cholesterol anti depression and blood pressure medication, I had been off them for almost 3 years attempting slow suicide I guess. Trying to get back on track. Thanks for advice
