Hi Neil
When you are sectioned its under the Mental Health Act. You are placed in a psych ward involuntarily. I was lucky that I only stayed in the psych ward for 2 nights. My psych got me out of the hospital that I was admitted into. From there I went into the private sector where my psych is. I was there to stabilise. It wasn't too bad the nurses were nice and I got to see my doc everyday. If I get sick again I will go back into the same hospital but it won't be as scary the second time around.
im beginning to accept that having a mental illness is apart of me and that I have to learn to live with it.
thanks again, Neil

Dear Lisa
Thanx for your latest post and to outline the deal about sectioning. And yes, the first time around would be very confronting.
Yes, it’s like we’ve got this pet (black dog) that we don’t want, but he sticks with us. Sometimes he’s snoozing quietly in his kennel, but knowing the mongrel is there is not a comforting thought at all. 😞
Just know Lisa, that you can come here at any time and post away. Vent, unload, scream out (well in typed words!) 🙂 or just post away; we’ll be here to chat back to you.
Cheers
Neil

Thanks Neil,
i hope to make some connections on here for support. It's hard not to sound repetitive as the same things keep bothering me. My daughter had her psychologist app during the week. She has another one this Wednesday.
Thanks for responding to my posts Neil
