Hi Rachel, I'm sorry to hear about your mum's situation. That's a very frightening thing to go through. Is she waiting on test results? I hope things turn out OK. I've had a couple of scares, had to have tests and fortunately they were clear, but I remember how hard that time waiting for results can be.
It doesn't sound like your sister's in a very good place. Is she living with a group of people? What do they do?
I can tell you're worried about her and it's very hard not to worry when it's someone close to us. Unfortunately our worrying doesn't help them or us. She's an adult and has to make her own choices. Sometimes the choices of others hurt us, and scare us, but we can't make them change, only they can do that.
The main thing is that they know we still love them and we're here for them if they decide to change and maybe come back. So hun, I think you are doing all you can and even if she's not responding to you on Facebook, she at least knows you're there and you care about her.
I hope you are able to still enjoy your hobbies during this stressful time. I think I remember you saying you like sports - are you watching all the cricket at the moment and the tennis? I am. Love it. 😄
Take care hun, talk soon
Kaz
