Not sure how to keep on keeping on. 😞
I’m 27, have no parents (both deceased) no siblings, not close with any family. No actual friends, split up with a partner of 2+ years which is my down fall. Still grieving the loss of my father who was my best mate.

Hi Pipppa,
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear you've lost both parents, especially since you were so close with your father. I can't even begin to imagine how tough it is right now, and how alone you are feeling when you've lost so much.
Thank you for opening up and telling us how you are feeling. I don't know how or if we can help, but I hope we can be here for you as you grieve. Sometimes there's no way to immediately move forward when we've suffered so much. Perhaps it could be a time to just take a bit of time out and find a caring space for yourself.
I hope your day is going okay. If you'd like to share any more with us, or just generally chat to take your mind off things, we're here for you.
James

Hello Dear Pippa,
I’m so sorry your struggling a lot with living alone, and missing your beautiful father so much…that would be so hard at any age, and your so young, my heart goes out to you sweetheart…
Have you spoken to a grief counsellor to help you through your grieving…sometimes it helps to talk to a professional about how loosing a loved one is effecting you…and making your life hard to go one without them….
We are here for you dear Pipppa, if you feel up to talking…
Thinking of you with kindness and care.
Grandy.

Hi Pipppa,
I am sorry to hear how much you have been trying to cope with on your own, I know how difficult it is as I have been through a similar situation. Grieving is different for everyone, but I can tell you it does get easier with time, just be gentle with yourself while going through the process.
It is difficult navigating the world on your own, but not impossible. Sometimes we are thrown into these situations and we don't know what to do or how to be in the world. But they can be an opportunity to learn something about ourselves. They can show us our strengths and our vulnerabilities, they can also give us the opportunity to get to know ourselves at a deeper level.
I have never been a sport type person but at one stage I tried Archery as it was something I was curious about and I did enjoy doing it for a while but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
My suggestion is that during this time that you find yourself alone, try out some things that have always interested you but you haven't tried yet. With some trial and error, you may find the thing that is perfect for you and begin to meet like minded people in the process, make new friends, the possibilities are many. It will also help you move eventually from the feeling of being stuck in an emotional and lonely situation to the feeling of entering a new chapter in your life with new possibilities. It may take a little time but that's okay too.
I hope this helps a little and as james1 said, we are here for you.
Take care,

Hi Pippa
I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling, it’s so hard going through a breakup, and made so much harder with the grief you’re still experiencing from loosing your father. When I went through a very lonely time after moving to a new town and loosing the closest friendship in that town not long after, I felt very alone (I was a single girl too).. having my dog was so helpful, it helped me through a tough year. So I also started some volunteering at a dog shelter, as dogs just love you no matter what, they are always happy to see you which is a nice feeling. For me it really helped in a tough time. Not everyone can have a pet, but I wanted to share how spending time with animals really helped me.
