Hi All,
I haven't been here for quite some time but here i am back again! Just feeling really frustrated at the moment. Frustrated at work, really not enjoying it at the moment, too much pressure, unreasonable expectations and inconsistencies. Not happy at home either, i doubt that i would still be there if it wasn't for my daughter. Never ending financial stresses as well.
So not happy at work, not happy at home, too many stresses and frustrations! I can't eat properly because of all the stomach cramps i am getting, especially in the evenings. Feel emotionally detached, all i feel is frustration and irritability in varying degrees. My only savior is my strict exercise regime, gives me something to focus on and look forward too, i really don't know where i would be without it!
I guess life is what it is just gotta get on with it i suppose but definitely not enjoying life at the moment. Irritable and frustrated! Thanks for listening to my rant
Take Care 🙂

Hi Magyarok,
Thank you for your post, it sounds like you have alot going on and a very difficult time for you at the moment. It is hard when you can't get peace at home or at work, its like where do you go to de-stress!! However, I love that you have your excercise regime and I am inspired by that and I hope to do the same. I think routine is important where possible, that's what I have found. There is a saying, maybe Buddha or one of the wise one's something like ' you have to accept what you cannot change and change what you can.' or something like that. I often think that to myself when I am ruminating about what could be. So maybe make a list of what you can realistically change and timeframes and what you have to live with even if its for a short time. Ring us or get some support a referral from a GP sometimes another perspective can be good. There is a list of professionals on our page. Our number is 1300 22 4636 and chat to us anytime. I hope that things improve for you. We also have an app "smiling minds' its good for a mental break. Try to get some time for yourself, even if its a walk around the block or your excercise. I too will do more excercise, I have always felt better when I do, weird that often the thing we don't want to do is the thing we need the most. Look at your options and maybe make some changes where possible. Wishing you all the very best:) Nikkir

Hi Nikkir,
I felt better soon after submitting my post and more so again after reading your reply. I guess I just needed a moment to rant. Thank you for your support 😊
I guess sometimes I feel a little trapped in the clutter of my life. Work is incredibly frustrating at the moment and home life is somewhat as well.
Exercise is my escape, it is so ingrained into my routine that I just simply do it without second thought or procrastination. In fact if I don't exercise I start feeling quite edgy.
I resonate with the quote from Buddha you mentioned thankyou. I guess I need to find other means also to find snippets of peace when life gets frustrating. Thanks again
Best wishes
Dave

You've picked up on a number of themes around family and work that are frustrating at the moment. Below are some links to a couple of your older threads, it would be great (if you feel like it) if you could update these and bring our newer members up to speed on what's changed for you over the last couple of years since you last posted and how we can best support you now.
