Is this depression or something else?

I cannot find the motivation to do anything other than gaming....and even that is becoming dull and a chore. I just don't care. About anything. Dont care about hiuse chores, my job which I really hate it's so incredibly mind numbing and I feel like I waste my time there. I feel so much anger too. Towards my life, past present and future I just feel anger when thinking about them. I don't know what this is but I posted it in depression just in case it is that? I'm unsure.

I don’t know a lot about depression, but I will say it sounds as though you’re really stuck in a rut and need to make a change if you can. Have you spoken to a professional about this?
Gaming is a kind of escapism but it doesn’t fix the fact that you don’t enjoy your job, sadly 😞

hope you find some good answers.

Hello Dear Ijustneedhelp..

What you’re describing, could be depression or many other things as well...We are not professional people here...just people who have lived experience with our own mental health.....some have come out the other side and others are still struggling...

I would like to gently suggest to you...to make a long appointment with your GP...and talk to them honestly about how your feeling so unmotivated, sad, depressed and how your seeing yourself with your thoughts...That way you could get a proper diagnosis, hopefully a mental health care plan...and one free appointments with a psychologist with a proper diagnosis, your Dr. would be more able to help you, towards your journey forward toward wellness...

My kind thoughts with care, Dear Ijustneedhelp..

Dear Ijustneedhelp,

Firstly, I am sorry that you are feeling this way.

From your post it feels as though you are aware and acknowledged how you are feeling way, and this is one of the critical steps to recovery.

From my own lived experience I would recommend seeing your GP and the possibility of seeing a psychologist as well.

To support your recovery it is important to understand the root cause of your feelings and the recovery could then be aided with a combination of medication and counselling.

Finally, continue to reach out to this group as we are here to listen and provide you with that element of emotional support.

All the best.
