Thank you for sharing here. We're so sorry that you're feeling this way. Please know that this community is here for you. Some of our amazing community members can relate and have been through something like what you're going through, and come out the other side. We'd love for you to hear from them.
We’re reaching out to you privately to offer our support, but we'd love for you to give us a call on the Beyond Blue Support Service. We are available 24/7 by phone on 1300 22 4636 and our customers are really good at talking people through this and working out options for more support. There's also Lifeline (13 11 14) or the Suicide Call Back Service (1300 659 467), and all of these options are available on webchat in case you don't feel like talking on the phone: If you're unsafe, the number to call is 000.
Do you want to share a bit more here about what you're feeling? It might take some time for people to spot your post, but we are listening, and our community is here to support you during this incredibly difficult time. It's so brave that you could share here, and we hope you can see it as a step towards feeling better.
Kind regards,
Sophie M

Hello b_nderz, you ask a strong question and I'm sure many have asked this same thing, I know I did when I was suffering from depression/anxiety but it used to come in patches, where days it didn't happen, then suddenly something annoyed to me and the thought came back, but each time it may be because of something else and we can't predict what may be the reason or times it may be the same cause.
There are different ways to overcome this feeling and what is mentioned is just a few suggestions, try and sleep, speak to a friend who has been by your side along this journey or call any of the numbers that are provided for people in these situations as suggested above.
We, absolutely understand the position you're in and really hope we can talk with you and we only offer support back to you.
Please take care.
Geoff.

Hi Surfie883
My heart goes out to you as you face this overwhelming time of deep suffering. Anytime you want to express your feelings, give yourself the freedom to come here and do just that. If you feel the need to vent, go for it. If you feel the need to wonder or question, go for it. Even if you feel the need to come here just to read over what everyone's written, without you feeling the need to respond, go for it.
I wish we were all raised with the idea that feelings are everything, they're so incredibly vital when it comes to feeling your way through life. Feelings allow you to feel or get a sense of when you're around depressing degrading people or in depressing situations. They allow you to get a sense of when people or situations are far too stressful for your own good. They can tell us when we're in the wrong job or the wrong circle of friends. They can even tell us what we can no longer tolerate. May sound a bit silly to some but feelings are our compass in a way, telling us where we are in life as well as giving us a sense of direction (leading us to move away from that which we can no longer tolerate or that which no longer serves us).
When you say you need to talk about your feelings, consider this as addressing 'How do I use/make the most of my compass?'. While many through life will say, in one way or another, 'Put it back in your pocket' (suppress your feelings), my mantra is 'Take it out and master your ability to use it as an incredible resource'.
Looking forward to hearing from you 🙂
