I Feel Like I'm Being Ignored And Or Rejected On The Forums

Hey again guys. Liam here. So, let's see, what's been going on...well this is something I've wanted to really get off my chest, but...I feel like I'm being ignored and or rejected on the forums. I mean don't get me wrong, you guys have been incredible to me, but I just feel like I can't make a post without it being moved to one where I've literally posted numerous times...I want to talk about all kinds of things, mentally but the ones who run the forums seem to think I'm just talking about the same things over and over which, yes is true, but still...also I know what it is I'm looking for, after a long time of research, I finally found a word for what it is I'm looking for in a girl. I'm looking for a platonic partner. Now for those of you who don't know what a platonic oartner is, well here's the definition. A platonic partner is a person with whom you share a deep, committed life bond that functions like a long-term relationship, but without sexual or romantic involvement. So yeah, THAT'S what I'm looking for. Now the bad news? Well, I am still trying to find that person. My first partner, I broke up with her because she wasn't chatty and was rather quiet, and not to mention that she was so obsessed with me to the point where she wouldn't leave me alone. So I panicked. Then my second one, I didn't really have that much to do with her...she was way too obsessed with her own stuff and she was focusing way too much on herself...and finally my third one, while she is willing to hug me, she never answers my calls or texts...guys...I don't know waht more I can do...can you guys please comfort me right now because I'm crying from this... *Crying* 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The  forum is just made up of people.
I respond to people who are going through a life event that I have been through, and I interact with them to show that they can get through this, there is hope.

Of my own experiences, very few people will have gone through what I have gone through, and it is hard for people to relate

Thx for at least responding man

Mario

so sorry you feel rejected. I understand what you are looking for. I had a platonic relationship for a couple of years as I was I needed space. Please keep posting we are listening and you are not alone .

Hey dude! Ok so I am just going to be up front here - please don't mistake my bluntness for unkindness or anything like that as I don't harbour any ill will or any negativity towards you in saying this. But you kind of answered your own question - you already aknowledged that yes a lot of the posts you make are incredibly similar, which explains why they tend to get funnelled towards the same location/thread/post. So yeah you already answered your own question pretty much up front in this post.

Also - to simply put it, this isn't a dating site - and you might want to take that into account given that the main reason you appear to be attempting to use the forums for is to locate a platonic partner. The reason a lot of your threads/messages go unanswered is simply that the majority of people that use this site aren't using it to attempt to find the same things you are. Now that isn't meant to put you down or anything like that - but simply a basic fact that you need to take into consideration when wondering why a lot of your posts aren't being interacted with in the way you like - you are simply attempting to use the site for a purpose that the vast majority of others aren't.

Hey mate. Thanks. It's just so hard when I'm trying my hardest to find a platonic partner and I don't use social media or anything like that.

Hi Liam, I agree with what others have said.  Now, constantly concentrating on what you want, a platonic partner - well you don't always get.  I know this from decades of experience.  However there is hope.

In my humble opinion, first ask yourself is this what you really want? Why? Etc, and then is it really? Or is it a platonic partner until you become serious? Or is it a friend? Having a deep and meaningful connection is great but it can't exist in a vacuum, people share secrets they don't want to reveal to others, there must be a hope for a future, otherwise it all just ends in tears.  As I say this is just my opinion.

Maybe try joining groups where you go to have fun instead.  Friendship is important and eventually you might meet your person. There's no rush. In the end we all just want to be loved, but loving others isn't easy.

Please ignore, if this doesn't help.

Good luck. 🙏

Hey, thank you. I appreciate it. I'm already in two groups, but the two girls that were in one of the groups, have left. And one of them was my ex.  @MariaStar
