Feeling like nothing is ever going to get better. Had enough

Hey,

im having a really hard time. I feel like I make some progress and then we just go back to the beginning again. Things shouldn't be this hard. Hating how things are at the moment. Finding it so hard to be positive about anything.

Sorry but needed to offload. Need some space to rethink how I move forward. Feel like I'm running into a brick wall over and over again.

Hey KT OCD

I'm sorry you are having a hard time. Hugs to you. I long to move that brick wall for you, so you wouldn't keep running into it or something. And so your life would be better.

I am not sure what else to say, except I care about you.

PS gosh I really do long to smash it, so you can really run and be free.

Thanks Shelley. I appreciate your reply....needed to know there was someone out there who cared. Feeling pretty awful. Going to have some quiet time tomorrow and do some self care. Think this is going to be a sleepless night.

Hi KT,

It's so hard sometimes isn't it. Two steps forward one step back.

But you sound determined, you sound like you want this and I believe that the desire to improve is so important. This brick wall sometimes seems so strong, but you can be stronger.

If you feel like you're going backwards then regrouping and assessing your strategies is a good idea. But you can't give up, you can do this.

Were hear to listen and support you when you need it.

Hi KT,

i can definitely relate. It is so hard, when you think you are getting better and then boom, it hits hard again. I feel like giving up, especially today. I can't take it anymore. But it gives me strength reading I am not alone.

Bug hugs and keep pushing

Hi Chicken Wings,

thanks for your reply. I feel a bit alone sometimes so it is nice to know u guys r here for me.

i am still determined but not as determined as I used to be. Seem to have lost motivation along the road. I think I may be a bit depressed. Haven't been diagnosed but not feeling like my old self. More feelings of helplessness and despair. Will chat it over with my psychologist next time.

I am feeling better this morning. Having a quiet one 😄

I totally get never seeing the sky for the clouds. I am so over it.  I sole parent. I don't know how long I can continue to have strength for my kids and myself.  We are all dealing with escaping continued psychological and emotional abuse from my ex husband their dad 8 years after the marriage ended. I am tired and drained and often think about our way out, the gutless way to finish this painful and tiring life I live. It's almost becoming a fantasy cause we exist but don't live.

dear All, well we all go through life grappling or wrestling with continual thoughts that may haunt us, day in, day out, and while some people are able to cope with them, or even pretend to cope with them, there are people like us who can't figure out why depression has hit us, so does this mean that we are the weak ones, definitely not, but unfortunately we struggle and always try and answer the question, WHY, I don't deserve to feel this way, I haven't done anything to be punished with this crawl illness, where all our friends have given up on us, we have now lost our job and our marriage or relationship is now suffering.

At first we ask ourselves a question, but we don't get an answer, so we move onto another question and again there is no reason, so this can go on for a period until we give up and this is when the black blanket now embroils us to where it suffocates us.

Your recovery is slow and yes you take one step forward but then two steps backwards and feel as though there is no light, but eventually it will appear, which may not sound to be any consequence to your own situation

sorry I don't know what happened there, however to finish off, ------ to your own situation, but as long as it takes there is some relief at last, just like me and many other people have found. Geoff.
