Hello,

i have been going so well with everything until something happened at work.

we had an incid not I was involved in and ever since then things have changed so, so much. I feel as though they blame me for what happened still.

And there has been been some other things that have set me backwards too.

Hi Double K,

We're all here to listen if and when you feel up to writing more. Maybe it will help talking things through.

Hope to talk to you soon

Hi DK, it's not easy posting a comment but well done and I'm sorry for what has happened.

There are many trigger points that can cause us to feel threatened and these may happen without us even expecting them.

I hope this isn't the reason, but if it is, it would be great to hear back from you, either way.

Geoff.

Thanks Geoff,

back in June this year I had to deal with a heart attack victim in the pool. (I'm a lifeguard) and we all did what we could etc. it's just that when it comes up in our meetings, the staff basically look at me all the time and it feels as though they blame me for it....like I wasn't doing my job. It just hurts when it's spoken of and it happens like 4 months ago and they still bring it up.

the other thing is....I love surprising people at work for their birthdays, wedding anniversaries etc. it was a friends wedding anniversary and I thought I would do a little something for her and her husband. I decorated her desk at work and when she saw it she was surprised etc and thanked me and said I was very naughty....it's just that when I saw her and she hugged me, something she said just made me think she was angry with me. I don't know what to say or if she is really angry at me for real. 😢😢

Hello Double K,

It sounds like you are really sad. I'm sorry you're feeling that way.

I was thinking, maybe your lifeguard peers in your team meetings are looking on you in empathy rather than blame. Its a caring and courageous role Double K....qualities that you obviously do have...as well as your peers.

As for your friend at work what did she say to you when she hugged you?

Hope to talk more soon
