ive just been diagnosed with BPD.

its shocked me becasue i wouldnt have thought i have a personality disorder.

ive been told that DBT is the best form of therapy but dont really know much else, and i dont really know what to do from here.

ive been put on a waiting list to DBT group therapy but thats a long list minimum 4 months until then so not really sure how to proceed from here

can anyone share any experiences about where to from here, DBT experiences or anything at all

Panicking isnt a good thing.

What uf you mentioned it casually. Then its up to them to take an interest. If they dont then if others mention it they cant get angry because you've told them previously.

I hope you dont mind me saying this but I feel thete is too much fear in you about this and it isnt your fault.

I tried meantioning things about mh casually to them before and they jumped down my throat and when i ended up in hospital said why didnt i ask for help yet i was asking for it a few times and they wouldnt listen to me.

You can say whatever you like.

And yes i have ALOT of fear. Alot more than i can handle so its easier and less confronting if i stay quiet
