dear Reddress, being able to do something at night is not the same as doing something in the morning and this could be caused by many reasons.
I'm sure the kids didn't mind having a day off from school, but this isn't the problem which I'm sure you understand and know that you are suffering pretty badly from depression and from previous situations that has caused PTSD.
By having this illness does make you so tired most of the time, so pleased try not to be embarrassed by saying that you do have these conditions.
I reaslise that we want to tell our kids otherwise, probably because they wouldn't know what we are talking about, plus what they may tell their friends at school, but it's more serious than this, and I say this because I'm not sure whether you are under your doctor and then taking any antidepressants (AD) as well as any counselling.
You're on a safe site where we have also struggled with this illness, where some people have overcome it, while many others are still trying to cope with it.
I really hope that you can get back to us when ever it suits you. Geoff. x

Hi reddress.

Why not say "no not sick totally fatigued", no shame in that at all . I feel stuffed most of the time and used to feel so, so guilty and try and push on until I fell in a hole.

Now I cannot let guilt keep me down, even if other stuff might lol. You must have needed that break at least that is what your body was telling you.

I often plan right until the time I get up just what I am going to do for the day,  I might do some of it, I might do none of it and so now just accept what comes.

So hoping you feel better today,

Hugs Michelle
