What small thing brought you a little joy this week?

Hi everyone,
Life can be hard sometimes, so I thought I might try something different here.
And I figured it might be nice to share a little light. Has something (big or small, it does not matter!) that brought you a moment of joy this week?
It could be as simple as a smile from a stranger? Good cup of coffee? a walk? Or something funny your pet did.
I’ll start: After a day when I thought I did not accomplish much, my higher up sent me a text message in the evening, thanking for the help I had given during the day. And this put a smile on my face.
Looking forward to hearing the little things that made your day a bit brighter

Excellent post Smallwolf
After 3 years putting seed out for small birds as well as 4 nesting boxes we've managed to attract about 50 native sparrows. We also have a bird bath.
Today we woke to see a New Holland Honeyeater sipping from that bird bath. We have numerous bottle brushes and other nectar producing bushes.

Hi Smallwolf
I needed a tricky favour from a senior work colleague, was nervous about asking and procrastinated for days.
In the end, I reached out and she unquestioningly delivered.
Relief and joy for me!

@Summer Rose,
I have the same feeling something like that happens. And then if I mention something like that to my psychologist, the next thing I will hear is something along the lines of "how did that make me feel" as a reminder that it's ok to ask for assistance. That said, I don't mind asking questions these days, as doing something incorrectly can be worse.
@Tony,
It's nice to the have nature/birds in our backyards. Unfortunately I also attract minors, crows and scrub turkeys. On the other side, we also a frilly lizard, water dragon and sometimes a carpet snake... all of which we are happy to have to keep the other vermin away.
And today... someone told me that I was very kind, caring and compassionate! That made me feel good.

I'll go again ...
I have a YouTube channel for programming. And someone made a very nice comment about the video and how helpful it was.

Congrats, Smallwolf!
I asked my adult son to attend an exhibition with me and he said yes (a win because he is usually so busy with work and life) and we went out for a meal afterward and had a great time connecting

I was going to say today but it was yesterday now. I visited a cafe in a small town on my way to a larger town to do grocery shopping. I felt terrible when I went in as I’m going through very bad depression. But the man behind the counter had the brightest, friendliest smile and manner. I immediately felt much brighter myself and was able to interact in a friendly way back. I had a genuine shift in how I felt, even if it was temporary. I find as long as you have those islands of happy and good feelings happen you know it is possible to not be completely lost at sea. That it is possible to feel something good. I am so grateful to that kind, friendly man.

Hi Eagle... write that thought down and put it into a bottle. Sounded lovely.
